GL&V milled bar refiner plates are manufactured using CNC technology to provide maximum uniformity in the refining zone. The results are improved hydraulics, consistent fiber development and longer fillings life. The GL&V precision CNC manufacturing process minimizes groove width variations, which allows finer bar codes to optimize low intensity applications. Filling life is maximized by tracing and deepening the grooves. The need to completely grind off the bars for a recut is eliminated which allows for 4-5 lifecycles.
