TamPulper™ Continuous Pulpers

Continuous TamPulper™ systems are individually engineered with cylindrical shapes and baffles to improve flow dynamics and eliminate dead corners. This results in more effective circulation within a smaller pulper tank and lower energy requirement. Each impeller is sized specifically to the tank volume and can be installed in multiple configurations to best suit the mill layout.

Our preferred layout is the inclined horizontal arrangement. The horizontal round tank and dished ends provide for an inherently stronger tank design with lower height requirement.

A continuous TamPulper™ system can be used to repulp virgin pulp bales, broke, and waste paper. Fiber and water are adding continually to the pulper vat. The highly efficient TamPulping® rotor provides circulation, submergence of material, and cleaning of the extraction screen. Material is continuously pumped away as demanded by the process system. The continuous pulper will operate in the range of 3-5% solids.

In both horizontal and vertical pulper designs the directional vanes inside the vat capture the flow rotor directing it to provide fluent circulation.

The TamPulper technology has highly efficient rotors designed for maximum pumping. The rotors new design allows for less power consumption. The TamPulper system is able to be configured as either a single or dual pulper depending on the application and production.
