Tower Dilution Nozzles

GL&V N400 & N1000 Dilution Nozzles are applied at the bottom of all IMPCO® and Ingersoll Rand high-density downflow bleaching towers. The nozzles maintain a uniform interface between the high and low density zones.

The spring-loaded dilution nozzles are specifically designed for use in the bottom of high density downflow type bleach towers, to maintain a uniform interface between the high and low density zones. These remote operated hydraulically positioned nozzles produce a rectangular stream of dilution water which is directional by manual positioning, and assist the tower circulators with their hydraulic mining ability. If dilution water pressure should fail, the spring automatically returns the tongue to its closed position, preventing pulp from entering the dilution line. Nozzle pressure can be preset for specific conditions by rotating the spring retainer.
