Pulping

The TamPulper™ technology is available in two operating modes; continuous or batch. In a continuous mode, material and water are being added and pumped out of the pulper vat through the pulping unit extraction grate. Continuous TamPulper systems are individually engineered with optimum shapes and baffles to improve flow dynamics and eliminate dead corners. This results in more effective circulation within a pulper tank and lowering energy requirement to achieve a pumpable pulp slurry. Each impeller is sized specifically to the tank volume and can be installed in multiple configurations to best suit the mill layout.

In the Batch Operation mode, a predetermined amount of water and fiber is processed in the pulper for a set amount of time. This results in a more deflaked pulp slurry sent forward to the process. The Batch Furnish TamPulper design is available in horizontal and vertical. The horizontal pulper offers a low headroom solution for market pulp bales, broke, or recycled paper.
