Cooking

The cooking plant is the key part of the fiberline. Cooking affects both the amount of effluent and the quality of the pulp. The most advanced displacement batch cooking technology by GL&V is called DUALC™ cooking. The DUALC process can be applied to paper grades as well as dissolving pulping process. Also, technology for conventional batch cooking can be supplied. GL&V has vast experience on various tailor-made upgrade projects, including single equipment replacement and modification as well as process efficiency improvements with technology improvement.  In addition to batch cooking technology, GL&V can supply Pandia® continuous digester products for annual fibers, NSSC pulping and bioprocessing.
