The CA-type REGUL.O flow regulator is ideal for regulation of the outlet flow from storm basins and storm bypass chambers, and improves their handling of variations in incoming flow-rate. It can be used for both combined systems and for rain-water systems. With its axial float-arm, it is particularly adapted to applications where lateral space is restricted.

Operating Principle  

• Maintenance of a constant set flow rate, ±<5%, irrespective of the head of water in the storage tank/chamber. (Subject to maximum communicated at the design stage).
• Mechanical operation, based on orifice restriction by a sliding plate governed by a float-arm which follows the water level.
• Maintenance of an orifice section approximating to a circle, reducing risk of choking by solid objects
