The QuadraKleen® filter is a modular, four-cell cluster filter system designed for simplicity, continuous filtration, and capital economy. The concrete basin is partitioned into four cells clustered around common channels for influent distribution, filtered water collection and backwash collection. Backwash waste drains through a central steel collection column that is prefabricated and delivered to the construction site fully shop-assembled. All control valves are operated from a single, central panel equipped with a programmable logic controller for fully automatic operation. QuadraKleen filters typically employ cast-in-place under drain construction with FlexKleen® ABS nozzles, but other under drain selections are possible. Air scour backwash assist is a standard feature and a full range of bed cleaning strategies can be used.
