FlexKleen® Mark III Nozzles incorporate hydraulic characteristics and structural features developed by Eimco Water Technologies  in forty years of designing and manufacturing filter underdrain nozzles. The Mark III nozzle is suitable for heavy industrial waste applications as well as light-duty water and wastewater treatment. It can be used in any type of pressure or gravity filter, including those with steel or concrete underdrains. The Mark III nozzle is interchangeable with earlier FlexKleen® nozzle models and is recommended as a replacement. These nozzles are currently in use with sand, anthracite, garnet, and granular activated carbon media. Mark III nozzles are located on 8-inch centers, and have successfully replaced other nozzle brands on 6-inch spacing.
