The CastKleen® filter underdrain is a monolithic, cast-in-place concrete false floor that incorporates FlexKleen® nozzles for filtrate collection and backwash distribution. CastKleen® underdrains offer a high strength, low maintenance alternative to the grouted joints of pre-cast floor sections. A complete floor forming system is supplied that allows the floor slab and all support piers to be constructed in a single pour.

All components are made of food-grade plastic and snap together for quick installation. Nozzle inserts are cast-in-place along with the form panels, allowing nozzles and tailpipes to be placed after the floor has dried. The elevation of air intake orifices located on the tailpipes is easily adjusted from above, allowing uniform air distribution to be established without painstaking floor leveling procedures prior to the concrete pour.
