The discharged effluent produced using the Clereflo MBR plant is of a quality that allows the effluent to be re-used in a variety of applications. The quality produced is less than:
- 5mg/l BOD
- 5mg/l SS
- 5mg/l NH3
There is also a 4 log reduction in viruses and a 6 log reduction in bacteria.
This effluent complies with the World Health Organisation (WHO) qualification criteria for Unlimited Irrigation.
The Clereflo MBR also meets and exceeds some of the most stringent discharge standards in the world - therefore treated effluent can be reused for irrigation of:
- Plants/woodlands/gardens
- Golf Courses
