Description & Benefits - Our Ultra-Fine "UF" Series Screen was developed from our successful low-pulse Paper Machine “M” Series Screen. It’s primary use is for low consistency, fine screening in recycle fiber screening applications. - The UF screen is typically equipped with a slotted cylinder (<0.010” slot width) for high efficiency screening and fiber recovery. - "UF" Series Screens are designed as horizontal units. This offers several advantages over vertical installations, including:     - Low headroom requirements.     - Easy access to the bearings and drive.     - Easy access to the rotor and basket for servicing.     - Allows a "DRY" drive assembly.     - A horizontal motor.
