The DynaDil™ dilution technology can be applied after a wash press. The dilution technology operates without moving parts and dilutes the high consistency pulp (30-40%) down to medium consistency pulp (8-16%). Patent Pending.
The DynaDil dilution technology is positioned after the shredding screw of the wash press. The principle of operation is based upon the inventive concept utilising the dynamic energy of the pressurised dilution liquor supplied to the granulated pulp particles resulting in homogenous medium consistency pulp without any need for dilution screws. The mixing process is rapid and the pulp is fully diluted when it reaches the pulp level in the stand-pipe/tank.
In conventional systems the shredded high consistency pulp is diluted in a dilution screw driven by 30-75kW motor before reaching a stand-pipe/tank. In a typical fiberline 7-9 dilution screws are installed.
A full implementation of the DynaDil dilution technology throughout a fiberline will reduce operation costs in the order of 100-150 kEuro per year, and associated maintenance costs for 7-9 screws & motors is avoided.
