The DUAL Mixer mixes gaseous or liquid chemicals into pulp at medium consistency. The specially designed rotor fluidizes the pulp at the machine inlet. Chemicals are added directly to the fluidized pulp through the nozzles for very rapid and efficient mixing.
The compact design of the DUAL Mixer and its conveniently located pipe connections facilitate installations in existing plants with limited available space.
The mixing efficiency can further be increased if the pulp is deaerated in a preceding DUFLO™ Pump. Reduced air content in the pulp also increases the rate of reaction between the chemicals and pulp.
Dual Mixers are supplied in versions optimized for specific chemicals such as Oxygen, Chlorine Dioxide, and Ozone.
