GL&V has developed a gas fired drum dryer for use in process industries. This drum dryer is a drop-in replacement for situations where a mill no longer has the space for machine expansion or no longer has the steam capacity for drying. The gas fired drum dryer offers a simple and safe solution that in certain cases will replace 2-3 steam heated dryers. The total package is integrated with all required controls and has been designed for long term operation with minimal maintenance. Dryer efficiency is greatly improved especially when heat is recuperated from the combustion gases.
