A spool loading system allows the reel operator to load the primary arms at any time convenient to him without the need for the crane or crane operator. This frees up the crane operator for keeping the downstream process running smoothly. An added benefit is reduced abuse on the primary arms as the spools are basically "laid" into the primary arms with a very smooth motion.
